Finally CBI’s super-active efforts seem to be paying off huge dividends for their masters(Congress
Govt at the Centre). At last they have been able to cause the conviction of the
ex president of the party(BJP), the greatest enemy of their masters(Congress Govt.)
in Tehelka scam .However, on the other hand,they continue to ignore or help main players of ruling establishment(enjoying
close proximity to UPA Chairperson) alleged to have played crucial role in 2G
Scam, Common Wealth Games Scam , cash for vote scam, Coalgate scam and many
more scams involving important members of the ruling establishment. How they
helped Quattrochi to run away from the
clutches of law, despite clinching evidences against him, has again become
matter of Public discussion after recent revelation of Ex Police Chief of Sweden. Earlier,
they helped their most dependable friend Laloo to survive in Fodder Scam case in Bihar. In a similar case of entrapment as
that of Bangaru Luxman i.e cash for vote scam, they are after those who
conducted sting operation but continue to protect alleged beneficiaries of the
scam. They refuse to probe against Home Minister for his role as FM in 2G scam
despite clinching evidences in support of his crucial role in the scam. It’s
important to note that all these scams involve(d) alleged transaction of hundreds/thousands/lakhs
of crores of Rupees.However, they ignore(d) these cases and instead were being super active
in proving the guilt of an alleged petty thief, Bangaru Luxman involving
Bribe of Rs. 1 lakh.
Conviction of Bangaru Luxman in the Tehelka Scam case, involving 1 lakh Rupees
has caused severe embarrassment for BJP and has helped congress point
accusing fingers against the party(BJP), which has embarrassed them
periodically for last one and half years for charges of corruption against them
in series of scams.
While, CBI may be definitely right if they had evidences to
support conviction of Bangaru Luxman in Tehelka Scam and for that matter every right thinking
people would support their huge efforts in nailing the accused but why they
have preferred to sleep over clinching evidences against important members of Congress/friends of Chairperson of UPA.
Everybody knows that CBI has some highly competent investigating
officers and given the freedom, they have ability to nail accused in any case.However,
a close control by the Central Governments(Whether current UPA Govt. or even
Non UPA Governments in past in a few cases) don’t allow CBI officers to work
professionally and independently and are misused to support favorites of their
masters and go after against those opposed to their masters(Central Governments).
Hopefully, at least from now onwards, they would try to
replicate their professionalism and success of
Tehelka scam(involving bribe of 1 lakh) in a series of other scams of
their current masters i.e. Congress Govt (involving thousands and lakhs of
crores of Rupees as Bribe) and their friends. On the basis of their conduct, however, demand of Team Anna for Bringing CBI under anti graft
authority like Lokpal is definitely justified.
